Our youth development program offers year-round activities, before, during & after school.  We provide school age children and youth with stable, positive role models and mentors who strengthen and reinforce academic and life skills by providing meaningful opportunities to experience success in a variety of settings.  The program builds upon family and community strengths to accelerate student learning, build developmental assets, promote leadership skills and engage & energize low performing students who come from diverse cultural, economic and language backgrounds, to reach their full potential.

Current programs include:

  • Academic Achievement Program – a program for students in K-3 who are one or more years behind academically, and their parents.
  • be@school – a truancy reduction program for K-12 students and their families who are at risk of  Hennepin County intervention.
  • Dream, Explore, Connect! – a youth directed leadership and community engagement program for students in grades 4-8.
